Bajaj Electricals to review company structure for better opportunities

Bajaj Electricals has decided to review its existing business structure due to the nature and potential opportunities of each of its business segments, the company said in its statement. The review will include an assessment of the full range of options and alternatives, including spin-off, spin-off and strategic partnerships among various possibilities.

The company is currently engaged in the consumer products industry (including home appliances, fans, and consumer lighting products) and the engineering procurement and construction segment (which includes transmission projects and energy and lighting distribution).

“The Board of Directors has authorized BEL’s management to assess and recommend such options and alternatives, and subject to such detailed assessment, to consider hosting the transmission and distribution verticals of electricity as an autonomous or independent legal entity, “the statement read.
