OTC Markets Group Inc Unveils Corporate Structure Data for U.S. Listed Banks

The data covers the more than 550 US banks that trade on the OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink markets, as well as banks listed on the NYSE and Nasdaq.

OTC Markets Group Inc (OTCQX: OTCM) has made corporate structure data of US bank holding companies available on its website in an effort to create additional transparency for investors.

The data includes corporate structure information for more than 550 US banks traded on the OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink markets, as well as banks listed on the NYSE and Nasdaq.

Many banks are organized into bank holding companies, which may be made up of several specialized entities in addition to an operating bank, OTC Markets explained in a press release on Tuesday. The new corporate data gives investors a window into these other entities and includes a visual representation of corporate structure levels, entity names, locations and ownership percentages.

“Improved Corporate Structure is designed to meet the needs of investors seeking to understand the corporate structure, assets and business lines of publicly traded securities, as it is not often not just a commercial bank,” said Matthew Fuchs, executive vice president of market data and strategy. said in a statement. “OTC Markets Group continues to leverage our banking analytics platform, Qaravan, to deliver robust new datasets for the industry and deliver a more efficient marketplace for banks.”

Qaravan, which plays a role in OTC’s market data offerings, is designed to provide intuitive risk and performance analytics tailored to banking and finance professionals.

The data is available on the banks’ profile pages on OTCMarkets.com and on CanariSM, the OTC Markets Groups compliance web interface.

The OTC Markets Group operates the OTCQX Best Market, OTCQB Venture Market and Pink Open Market for 10,000 US and global securities.

The New York-based financial market operator has more than 460 securities from 27 countries traded on its OTCQX Best Market.
