Saniflo USA donates to several charities

EDISON, NJ — Rooted in the company’s heightened desire to do more, Saniflo USA, a division of SFA Group, has donated to Feeding America to provide 6,000 meals to families in need. One dollar helps provide at least 10 Feeding America Guaranteed Meals on behalf of local member food banks. The company also donated to Meals on Wheels, providing 100 meals to those in need.

SFA Saniflo, the global leader in above-floor macerating and grinding toilets and flushing pumps, plans to donate to both organizations again later this year in support of National Hunger Awareness Month in September.

“We believe in the power of food to feed communities across the United States,” said Regis Saragosti, CEO of SFA Saniflo North America. “With millions of Americans without access to nutritious meals, we must help however we can.”

Feeding America® is the largest hunger relief organization in the United States. Through a network of more than 200 food banks, 21 statewide food bank associations, and more than 60,000 partner agencies, food pantries, and meal programs, they’ve helped provide $6.6 billion in meals to tens of millions of people in need last year. Feeding America also supports programs that prevent food waste and improve the food security of the people they serve; draws attention to the social and systemic barriers that contribute to food insecurity in our country; and advocates for legislation that protects people from hunger.

Meals on Wheels America, a leading organization that supports more than 5,000 community programs across the United States, is dedicated to fighting senior isolation and hunger. Their network serves virtually every community in the country. With more than two million staff and volunteers, it provides nutritious meals, friendly visits and security checks that enable America’s seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity.

“As part of our ongoing pursuit of community well-being, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute to incredible causes such as Feeding America and Meals on Wheels,” says Saragosti.
